A refreshing treat made by dipping fresh watermelon pieces into melted chocolate and chilling until the coating sets.

Ingredients

4 cups watermelon cubes or wedges
1 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
2 tablespoons shredded coconut or crushed nuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Cut watermelon into small wedges or cubes and remove the rind.

  • Pat the watermelon pieces dry with a paper towel.

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.

  • Heat the chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring until melted.

  • Stir in coconut oil if needed for smoother texture.

  • Dip each watermelon piece halfway into the melted chocolate.

  • Place dipped watermelon onto the prepared baking sheet.

  • Sprinkle toppings over the chocolate if desired.

  • Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until the chocolate sets.
