Ingredients

Scale

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
¼ cup milk or chicken broth (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Place chicken in slow cooker and sprinkle with ranch seasoning.

  • Add cubed cream cheese on top.

  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.

  • Shred chicken in the pot using two forks.

  • Stir in cheddar cheese and let melt for 5–10 minutes.

  • Cook bacon separately, chop, and stir most into chicken mixture.

  • Add green onions and a splash of milk or broth if needed.

  • Garnish with reserved bacon and serve warm.

Notes

For a spicier version, add hot sauce or red pepper flakes. Use thighs for a richer result, or Greek yogurt to lighten it slightly.
