The Ultimate Crab Salad is fresh, flavorful, and easy to make. It combines sweet crab meat, crunchy veggies, and a tangy, creamy dressing, perfect for sandwiches, wraps, or just on its own.
1 lb fresh crab meat (or imitation crab)
2 celery stalks, finely chopped
1 small red onion, finely chopped
1 cucumber, diced
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp Greek yogurt or sour cream (optional)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Juice of 1 lemon
Fresh herbs (dill, parsley, chives)
Salt & pepper to taste
Prepare crab and chop veggies and herbs.
In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Add crab meat and vegetables to the bowl. Mix gently.
Stir in fresh herbs and adjust seasoning.
Serve chilled or at room temperature with your choice of garnish.
Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
Use avocado or add Old Bay seasoning for extra flavor.
