Crispy, spicy buffalo cauliflower steaks made in the air fryer or oven. A bold, plant-based dish perfect for game day, Meatless Monday, or dinner with a kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • ⅓ cup buffalo hot sauce

  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or vegan butter)

  • 1 tsp vinegar or lemon juice

Instructions

  • Slice cauliflower into ¾–1″ steaks.

  • Mix oil with spices; brush on both sides.

  • Air fry at 375°F for 12–15 min (or bake at 425°F for 25–30 min), flipping halfway.

  • Mix buffalo sauce with butter and vinegar.

  • Brush steaks with sauce and cook 2–5 more minutes.

  • Serve hot with ranch, slaw, or greens.

Notes

For extra crispiness, dust steaks with cornstarch before cooking. Use vegan butter and check sauce ingredients for vegan or GF compliance.
