12 ounces linguine or spaghetti
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 large lemon, zested and juiced
1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup reserved pasta cooking water
2 tablespoons Greek yogurt or cream optional
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
1/4 cup fresh parsley or basil, chopped
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook pasta until tender with slight firmness.
Reserve one cup pasta cooking liquid and drain pasta.
Warm olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
Stir in lemon juice and lemon zest.
Add a few spoonfuls of reserved pasta water.
