A warm, elegant dish of baked pears filled with feta cheese, honey, and cranberries — perfect for holidays or a cozy fall dessert.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe but firm pears (Bosc, Bartlett, or Anjou)

  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries

  • 3 tablespoons honey

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)

  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Slice pears in half lengthwise and scoop out cores.

  • Place pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.

  • Fill each hollow with feta and sprinkle cranberries on top.

  • Drizzle with honey and add spices if using.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until pears are tender and cheese is warmed.

  • Top with nuts if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Vegan swap: use plant-based feta and maple syrup.

  • Can be served warm or chilled.
