1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Cream butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.

  • Add egg and vanilla; mix until combined.

  • Whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; fold into wet mixture.

  • Fold in chocolate chips.

  • Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet, flatten slightly.

  • Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.

  • Cool on sheet 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.

Notes
