Tender potatoes cooked in a savory Lipton onion soup glaze in a slow cooker, perfect for weeknight dinners or holiday meals.

Ingredients

2 pounds Yukon gold or red potatoes, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix (1.0 oz)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Optional: 2 tablespoons milk or cream
Optional: 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Wash and cut potatoes into 1-inch cubes.
  • Place in slow cooker.
  • Combine onion soup mix, melted butter, and olive oil (add milk/cream if desired).
  • Pour mixture over potatoes; stir to coat.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours until tender.
  • Optional: uncover for last 20–30 minutes to thicken coating.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve

Notes

Can substitute olive oil for butter, use low-sodium soup mix, or add cheese/bacon/herbs.
