3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon chopped green onions
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)

Instructions

  • Pat shrimp dry and set aside.
  • Mix honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and pepper.
  • Combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl.
  • Heat oil in a skillet and cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side.
  • Remove shrimp and sauté garlic and ginger.
  • Add sauce and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in cornstarch mixture until thickened.
  • Return shrimp and coat evenly in sauce.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve.
